ABOUT LNJPIT

Loknayak Jai Prakash Institute Of Technology spread over 40 acres of land with fresh and peaceful environment . LNJPIT is the 7th government Engineering College in the state.The plan is to make it a state of the art technology center and research hub.

                   The first session would commence from 08/09/2012 with an intake of 240 students in four streams of engineering viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, and Computer science and Engineering.

LNJPIT, in its four years of existence, has always shown a positive graph of growth in all areas of functionality. The institution has always endeavored to provide a value based academic curriculum to all the enrolled students through well experienced, motivated and highly qualified faculties. I would like to see that while passing out; students not only carry their degree but career as well which is possible through a chain of sustainable academic measures. A lot of effort needs to be undertaken to orient student’s mental attitude towards understanding of technology and for that I would give fillip to projects & research activities in each department and motivate them to take it in right earnest.

The same effects of globalization on education have foreseen rapid changes day in and day out within learning systems across the world, change in the roles of students and teachers and producing a shift in society from industrialization towards an information-based society.

 Today, our educational world has a panorama of technology that can be used to boost learning for students. An ideal education ambiance can be visualized only when both the technology and teacher will be considered indispensable to each other.

At LNJPIT, It is a matter of great satisfaction that we have been able to balance between technology and teacher.  LNJPIT is committed for promoting excellence through holistic teaching-learning and research processes aimed at unleashing the creative potential of every student, thus enabling them to become catalysts of social and economic transformation necessary for a just, humane and peaceful world.

Our belief that goals can be best achieved through transparency, democratic values, equity, accountability and accessibility in an atmosphere that fosters intellectual freedom. It is our constant endeavour to actively ingrain these values into the day-to-day functioning of the university.
